Our life latley

Life is so busy and time just seems to fly by so quickly. We have all been so busy with our different activities. Mason just finished his soccer season not too long ago. He did awesome this year. There was one game where he scored five goals! He is such a stud. He has been doing karate one day a week. I think this is Mason's favorite thing (besides golf) and he is way good at it. He just got his yellow belt a couple of weeks ago!! He is doing awesome in school! Third grade this year. I cant believe I have a third grader.

Lee has been busy with work and his church calling. He has the biggest black eye right now from someone elbowing him in basketball. He kind of looks cute with it though. He has also been doing karate. He is a pretty active guy. He is looking forward to snowboarding this winter. He is such a good husband I'm sure blessed to have him.

I have been so busy with work. I'm working more than usual so thats a good thing I guess. I have been excersising twice a day running and doing zumba and I've never felt better about myself. I am in love with zumba it is so much fun and the results have been incredible. Shelly (the instructor) does such an awesome job! I actually got to teach the class a couple of times while she was out of town! It was fun and stressful, but I'm gald I got to do it.

Well, thats been our life this last little while. Now, we get to look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas!! I don't think things will ever slow down for us, but thats life I guess.
THE TEAM!!

Me and Chowder on our way up!
Yeah I get to look at this guy everyday! I'm lucky I know! :)

Lee and I hiked up to Paris Peak yesterday. It was a lot of work but the end was worth it! It was so pretty! It was fun just spending time alone with Lee too.

Saying goodbye :(

We have got to know the Missionaries really well this past year. They have helped out our little family so much by just being in our home with the spirit that they have. We are going to miss them a ton. I hate goodbyes.

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be, but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way. And sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.

If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to when you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things.

Make every day count...

Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you. You can make of your life anything you wish.

Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.

Most importantly, if you love someone tell them, for you never know what tomorrow may have in store. And learn a lesson in life each day you live.

TO BLOG? OR NOT TO BLOG?

So I have NOT had the desire to blog in a long time. I hardley even look at anyones blog anymore. I forget I even have a blog. But I decided to update it so everyone could know that yes we are still alive. There has been so much that has happened that I dont even know where to start. So here are a few highlights.

I ran a half marathon in April with the flu. I puked all the way home from Salt Lake. But can't wait to do another one when I feel good, so I can give it 100%.
Mason ran the 1k did awesome. My sister kim ran the half also and did awesome. Mason started Karate and he loves it. I went to Womens Conference with my sister and I learned a lot, it was a neat experience. Other than that we have just been busy working and mason has been busy with school. Mason is excited for summer so he can golf his little butt off. Lee is still as hot as ever. Oh and Im as fat has ever, but I'm working on it. Well thats about it maybe I will get better at this blogging thing or maybe not.

The Best Sister in The World

So Lacey i know you wouldn't mind if I hacked into your blog to leave you a little message. I just wanted to say thanks for all that you do for me. I want everyone who reads your blog to know what an amazing person you are. You are the only person in the entire world (besides my wonderful husband) who has never betrayed me. Thank-you for encouraging me to be my best self. I still can't believe that you convinced me to run a half marathon with you. I appreciate all the encouragement along the way because I really didn't even know that I was capable of doing it. Thanks for listening to me complain about all my problems and then encouraging me to be better. If I didn't have you ,I really wouldn't have anyone in this world to talk to who understands me and believes in me. You are my best friend and I am blessed that you are also my sister. I don't want to get too sappy or anything but I really do love ya hun!! (HA HA HA)
Sincerely,
Kim
P.S. I put my blog back up just for you!!
